Empowering Voices For Airdries' Future

Darrell Belyk, first elected in 2013 and now serving his third term since 2021, is a dedicated City Councillor for Airdrie. With a background in policy writing as a safety professional and expertise in management, Darrell is deeply committed to enhancing the quality of life for Airdrie residents.

As one of Airdrie’s six councillors, Darrell actively engages with the community in roles such as Director of the Airdrie Public Library, member of the Community Safety and Social Services Governance Board, and councillor representative for the Airdrie Board of Youth Affairs (ABYA).

Darrell’s priorities include advocating for seniors, promoting affordable and accessible housing, expanding recreational opportunities, and supporting Airdrie’s growth and revitalization. His commitment is to foster a vibrant, inclusive community where all residents feel supported.
